Interstice Digital and FalconX Launch Cross-Chain Infrastructure Connecting Canton Network

Interstice Digital announced on the 18th that it has launched a cross-chain swap engine in partnership with FalconX. The non-custodial infrastructure connects Solana, Ethereum, and Robinhood Chain to the Canton Network, a blockchain designed for capital markets, and has been selected as one of the notable applications on Canton. Approximately $9 trillion in tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) circulate monthly on Canton. The build involved Trulioo, TRM Labs, CertiK, and others. The initiative aims to bridge the divide between institutional networks and public chains, reducing friction in asset movement. Specific trading volumes and rollout timelines have not been disclosed.
Interstice Digital and FalconX Launch Cross-Chain Infrastructure Connecting Canton Network

Interstice Digital, a digital asset infrastructure firm, announced on the 18th that it has launched a cross-chain swap engine in partnership with FalconX, a major digital asset prime brokerage. The non-custodial infrastructure connects Solana (SOL), Ethereum (ETH), and Robinhood Chain—the blockchain developed by online brokerage Robinhood—to the Canton Network, which is purpose-built for capital markets.

The swap engine has also been selected as one of the notable applications on Canton. The Canton Network positions itself as the only public, permissionless blockchain designed specifically for capital markets. While it offers the privacy features and permissioned access that regulated institutions such as banks and asset managers require, it differs fundamentally from open networks like Ethereum and Solana where anyone can participate. This integration opens a direct pathway between Canton's institutional market infrastructure and some of the largest retail liquidity pools in digital assets.

Janine Yorio, CEO of Interstice Digital, stated: "The Canton ecosystem sees approximately $9 trillion (roughly ¥1,436 trillion) in tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) circulating monthly. We built this cross-chain swap engine to connect Solana, Ethereum, and Robinhood Chain to this growing ecosystem." Hassan Bassiri, Head of Trading Strategy at FalconX, commented: "As institutional demand for digital assets expands, the winners will be firms that can move capital frictionlessly between ecosystems. This engine, co-developed with Interstice, is exactly the infrastructure the market needs."

Multiple Infrastructure and Compliance Partners Involved

The build involved several infrastructure and compliance providers, including KYC leader Trulioo, blockchain analytics firm TRM Labs, security auditor CertiK, Canton Strategic Holdings, and MPCH. Interstice Digital provides only non-custodial infrastructure, with quotes independently sourced by counterparties. The company does not hold assets or execute trades on behalf of users.

Interstice Digital is a wholly owned subsidiary of Everyrealm Inc., backed by a16z crypto, Coinbase Ventures, Lightspeed, Galaxy, Brevan Howard, and Liberty City Ventures. Meanwhile, FalconX Bravo, an affiliate of FalconX, was the first firm registered with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) as a swap dealer specializing in crypto derivatives trading.

Bridging the Divide Between Institutional and Public Chains

A structural challenge facing the digital asset market is that institutional networks and public blockchains have grown separately, with limited interoperability. Assets issued and settled on Canton have historically been difficult to move to Ethereum or Solana, and vice versa. The newly launched swap engine directly addresses this fragmentation.

The inclusion of Robinhood Chain as a connection point is also noteworthy. Robinhood has been expanding infrastructure supporting tokenized equities and other assets for retail users, and connectivity with Canton and existing public networks could broaden the range of assets and liquidity available on its platform. That said, operational details—such as specific trading volumes, full rollout timing, and which assets will first pass through the swap engine—have not yet been disclosed.

From 2025 into 2026, interest in cross-chain infrastructure has intensified amid accelerating tokenization of real-world assets. Institutional investors want to maintain the privacy and compliance features of permissioned networks while also tapping the liquidity and reach of public chains. Projects connecting both environments are positioned to capture demand from both sides. If this integration functions as intended, institutions holding assets on Canton will face reduced friction when accessing Ethereum and Solana liquidity, while Robinhood users may gain indirect exposure to a broader range of tokenized products through the new Robinhood Chain connection.
